Nexo will stage a free one-day ETC (Education, Training and Certification) training seminar in Dubai on 24 February.
Nexo Soundcheck, held in conjunction with local Nexo distributor VV & Sons, will be followed on the 25th by a live demonstration of the company’s latest compact line-arrays, including the GEO M6 and STM Series.
ETC1, on Tuesday 24 February, will see Nexo training manager and concert sound specialist Val Gilbert cover “the fundamentals of Nexo philosophy and technology, from the classic point-source Alpha Series systems to the present-day flagship STM Series of scalable line array elements”.
Starting at 9am at the Intercontinental Hotel, Dubai Festival City, the course includes an overview of NEXO’s proprietary processing and amplification and the NS-1 system modelling software, and hands-on practical training for the GEO S12 line array.
On Wednesday the 25th, Nexo and VV & Sons will demonstrate Nexo’s line of compact line arrays, namely the GEO M6 and STM M28, to the Dubai audio community.
Nexo announced last week that the Bled Festival Hall, in Bled, Slovenia, is hosting the first permanent installation of the GEO M6 in Europe (see Bled Festival Hall becomes first European install for Nexo GEO M6). The line array made its debut at PL+S 2014 (see Nexo to preview new GEO M6 series at Prolight + Sound) and marks the first foray into the corporate AV sector for the French manufacturer, which has traditionally leant towards live sound reinforcement. PSNEurope saw the GEO M6 in action, alonside the M28, at a demo day in September (see Sound of Music takes first Nexo M28s).
