PMC’s new monitor range was unveiled in Australia last week at Forbes Street Studios in Sydney.
The MB3S XBD-A monitors, which join PMC’s flagship active main monitor range, won a ‘Best of Show’ award at Namm 2017 in January this year.
PMC product specialist Chris Allen guided engineers from Sony Music and Sydney Opera House through the product’s patented technologies at the demo event. Australia’s longest-running recording facility Studios 301 was also in attendance.
"It was an absolute pleasure to meet engineers from both private and leading facilities in Sydney,” said Allen. "There is such a keen and thriving scene in this region and we were delighted to have the opportunity to demonstrate the MB3S XBD-A monitors [to the attendees].”
Allen added that he was “looking forward” to working with distributor Interdyn to develop PMC’s presence in the region.
Forbes Street Studios manager Anthony Garvin said: “After briefly hearing PMC’s speakers in the UK, I’ve been wanting to hear more of their range ever since. It has been a great opportunity to have the MB3S XBD-A models in our studio over the last few weeks, and I hope the demo night was as ear-opening for our guests as it has been for me.”
