Berlin-based Eve Audio’s new SC3010 and SC3012 studio monitors are making their tradeshow debut at Prolight + Sound this week.
The new SC3010 features a 10” low frequency driver while the SC3012 houses a 12” low frequency driver.
Both models are equipped with a 5” Rohacel sandwich diaphragm woofer, designed to reproduce mids as clearly as possible.
Eve Audio's new monitors are the only units to feature the newly developed RS6 Air Motion Transformer. Featuring larger geometry and increased folded diaphragm area, the monitors are designed to achieve a higher sound pressure levels and serve a wider frequency range, with a crossover point as low as 1800Hz.
The speakers are housed in cabinets, which combines plywood with a special inner construction to reduce unwanted resonance.
The centre plate housing the midrange unit and AMT tweeter can be rotated to allow for use in both vertical and horizontal orientation.
The new products are expected to ship from September 2014.
