Midas has announced the release of the M32 Digital Mixing Console, which will be debuted at NAMM. The new console is a 40-input digital mixer featuring the “1-million lifecycle” Midas pro faders. It is 96 kHz ready and carries 192 kHz AD/DA converters. Featuring a sleek design, made from carbon fibre and aluminum, the mixer was designed by Bentley Motors industrial designer. Multiple expansion cards such as Dante, MADI and ADAT are available for digital networking. An onboard 32×32 USB interface allows real-time tracking.
Al Walker, senior product manager, said: “We’ve been listening to our customer requests for a lightweight, durable and transportable Midas console.” Walker added: “We incorporated the same amazing mic preamps from the Midas PRO1 and PRO2, and gave the M32 professional-grade motorized faders for maximum durability and unparalled accuracy. The design is compact and eye-catching, thanks to the high-tech carbon-fibre and aluminium construction – which also makes the M32 extremely light and portable.”
