Blue, known for its distinctive microphone designs, has announced that it will be joining the competitive headphones market with the launch of the Mo-Fi range of headphones in Spring 2014.
In a statement, the company said that its 20 years of audio experience has allowed it to create headphones that offer a consistent, high fidelity listening experience of every track across a range of different devices. Further details about the products are still undisclosed at the time of writing, but Blue will be offering a sneak peek of the new line at NAMM 2014.
John Maier, CEO of Blue said: “The market is plenty crowded with lo-fi headphones for mobile devices. But classic hi-fi headphones are too power hungry for our mobile devices. We are ready for the next innovation in headphones and the market is ready now too.”
“We set out to do what no one else is doing: to end the compromise we make when listening across multiple sources. In the past, the headphone industry has approached this compromise with clever workarounds, but we solved the problem outright, with no compromises. We’re prepared to unleash Mo-Fi, true mobile high-fidelity.” www.unleashmofi.comwww.bluemic.com
