Miloco has partnered with Question De Son, a recording, mixing and writing complex in central Paris. Jordan Kouby and Frederic Vectol founded the facility, which features one of France’s best equipment collections and excellent acoustics in all three studios. The control room in the flagship Studio A is built around a Neve VR console and custom TAD+ATC monitors, with plenty of classic outboard gear. The SSL mixing alternative is Studio B, which houses an SSL 4048G+ console and has the same custom TAD monitors as Studio A. The studio also features a 5.1 monitoring system with a Martinsound MultiMAX surround controller. According to Miloco, many leading sound engineers have already claimed this space to be one of the most comfortable and efficient listening environments in Paris. Studio C is mainly an “in the box” writing and editing room, centred around a Pro Tools HD1 system. "With excellent equipment and acoustics this studio was my base whilst making the new Babyshambles album and it delivered on all fronts,” said producer Stephen Street. “Packed with an impressive array of microphones and instruments, QDS was an inspiring place to work. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient and I can't wait to go back and work there again." www.miloco.co.uk
