Focusrite today announced a new deal for its Plug-in Collective customer community. From May 2 to July 4, it has teamed up with plug-in producer Venomode to offer trials of three plug-ins – DeeQ, Maximal 2 and Pivot – plus a 50 per cent discount on the whole Venomode store.
Focusrite’s Plug-in Collective is the community connecting Focusrite customers with innovative software brands. Keeping up to date with releases is vital to find the best plug-ins: Plug-in Collective keeps its members in the know, offering them free software downloads and discounts on the latest tools.
Venomode’s single-band dynamic EQ filter, DeeQ, automatically adjusts the parameters of the EQ based on the incoming envelope or an external sidechain; ideal for everything from small adjustments to make room in the mix and to creative ‘wah’ type effects.
The loudness maximiser, Maximal 2, features a lookahead peak limiter and analogue-modelled saturation. It limits any peaks in the audio, and automatically increases the overall level. The analogue-modelled tape and tube saturation modes borrow from the best of the analogue world without the bad bits.
Pivot is a tilt equaliser, allowing users to quickly shift the spectral content of their audio. Mid/Side modes allow the adjustment of stereo content separately, enabling the cleaning of muddy stereo bass or crisping up wide treble in master tracks.
To take advantage of this offer, Focusrite customers must make sure their hardware is registered; details of the deal then lands in their account. The offer is available for a limited period only; they must download the plug-ins by 4 July 2019.
