Focusrite launches complete recording package

Focusrite’s Scarlett Studio comes with a two-channel audio interface, condenser microphone, headphones cables and software: everything you need to record, except a computer.

Audio interface manufacturer Focusrite has announced Scarlett Studio: a complete home studio kit with ‘everything needed to make professional quality recordings with your computer’ the company reports. Included in the package is the Scarlett 2i2 USB 2.0 audio interface with two Focusrite microphone preamps capable of up to 24-bit/96kHz recordings, the CM25 large-diaphragm electret condenser microphone (with LR cable) and HP60 referencing headphones. The software package includes Cubase 6 LE with up to 16 tracks of audio and 24 tracks of MIDI for recording and mixing, Focusrite Scarlett plug-ins (including compressor, reverb, gate and EQ), Bass Station soft-synth and over 1GB of royalty-free samples from Loopmasters.
