Nova Distribution has announced the sale of a pair of EVE Audio SC208 monitors to renown drum and bass producer DJ Break (pictured), who is about to release his second album, Resistance, on his own Symmetry Records. “If I close my eyes when listening through the SC208's it sounds like I'm in a large mastering studio, I open my eyes again and cannot believe these speakers only have 8-inch cones, the depth and clarity is phenomenal for the price,” said the Bristol-based producer. The SC208 monitors feature a bass frequency response down to 36Hz, ideal for dance producers needing a true deep bass representation. They are the largest model in EVE's two-way system series, starting with the smaller SC204.www.eve-audio.com
