A series of recent investments and upgrades have developed AT8 Studio from an 'after-hours' home studio to a fully fledged production facility, writes Marc Maes.

Aalst, Belgium-based AT8 Studio was borne out of Gert Van Laethem's home studio – as a former member of the Top 20 dance unit Natural Born Deejays he decided to invest in studio equipment. "I wanted to have the newest and best tools for my studio and kept stacking gear in the one spare room I had at home," says van Laethem.
