BAFTA 2020: Sound and Original Score Film Award nominations

We've curated a list of the film sound and original score nominees for the BAFTA 2020 awards

It’s safe to say it’s been exciting year for film, and as technology advances the sound becomes ever more encapsulating; an essential piece to the story. Here, we’ve curated a list of the nominees for the BAFTA 2020 film awards in the sound and original score categories. Icelandic composer Hildur Gudnadóttir has already bagged the Best Original Score at the Golden Globes for Joker, being the first solo woman to win an original score Golden Globe. This win comes a whopping 19 years after the last woman, Lisa Gerrard, won that award for Gladiator, but she was sharing the award with Hans Zimmer.

The BAFTA Awards 2020 are set to take place on February 2, 2020, but for now, here are the nominees:
