Alchemea College of Audio Engineering recently acquired a pair of new custom engraved BH1s from JZ Microphones.

Director of Alchemea College, Neil Pickles says: "Following the theft of our AKG 414 TLII we decided to try something new.”

Pickles states that he had been impressed by the V11 microphone and JZ Pop filter, so subsequently suggested a pair of JZ multi-pattern microphones for use in the college. The BH1s are currently being used by students and tutors in lectures and studio sessions.

It has also been announced that Hand in Hand Distribution has been appointed as Latvian-based JZ Microphones' distribution partner in the United Kingdom.

The entire JZ product range will be available from Hand in Hand from March 2014.
