What is it? A range of six speaker enclosures designed for installation in clubs, bars, cruise ships and theme parks, etc. Details Designed in response to demands from engineers and contractors, the Venu range is said to be easy to install and use with features such as Easy Hang wall brackets allowing fitting by a single person and supporting enclosures in both vertical or horizontal positions. This latter feature is used in conjunction with rotatable 90º x 60º HF horns to ensure the correct dispersion is maintained in either position. Venu 6, 8, 10 and 12 models offer power handling between 200W and 400W (RMS) and a frequency response extending up to 22kHz and down to 72Hz, 60Hz, 52Hz and 50Hz (respectively). Electronic HF protection is included for increased reliability at SPLs which extend up to 127dB (peak) for the largest Venu 12 model. The smaller of the two subwoofers in the range, the Venu Bass houses a single 12” transducer with a long-excursion 4” coil, while the larger Venu X is fitted with dual 12” transducers to provide double the power handling – 1.2kW (RMS) – and an increased maximum SPL of 130dB. All Venu enclosures are made from 15mm birch ply and incorporate M8 flying points for horizontal ceiling suspension and rust-proof grilles and fittings. And another thing… The Venu ranges uses Phoenix connectors with link outs for “quick and reliable” connection of the enclosures.
