What is it?A new high-powered amplifier developed as part of a joint initiative with Audinate and Lab.gruppen. DetailsBased on the Lab.gruppen PLM 20000Q platform and featuring dedicated presets for use with Turbosound’s new Flashline concert touring loudspeaker system, the 20000DP provides four discrete output channels – each rated at 4400W at 4 ohms – and is said to offer significant advantages in sonic performance and user functionality. The 20000DP also incorporates fully-featured Lake Processor modules, each providing precise settings for gain, delay, standard and linear phase crossover slopes, eq and limiting. Turbosound’s Flashline and Flex Array preset libraries make full use of the FIR capabilities of the processor, providing “extremely accurate” impulse response measurements plus faithful reproduction with minimal distortion. Other features include an integrated Dante networked audio distribution system – said to provide reliable, sample-accurate, low-latency audio distribution over Ethernet – and Lake control software allowing complex grouping and processing options.
