OutBoard, UK immersive audio and show control specialists, will be demoing its new developments in immersive audio at ISE 2019.
TiMax OutBoard will be presenting at stand 7-S197 in hall 7 at the RAI, Amsterdam, where it will demo the TiMax 500-series software and the FPGA dsp core, revealing advances in immersive spatial audio with the ability to render and show workflows in live, presentation and experience applications, including selectable skins for the outdoors and show conditions.
The new TiMax StageSpace, developed from the input of experienced sound design professionals, enables auto-calculation of dynamic delay-matrix spatialisation objects to be calculated directly from a map of the venue, the speaker and audience and the venues guest spaces. TiMax spatial objects can be efficiently auto-rendered and adapted to a variety of presentation types and spaces, stages, audience and audio system configurations.
According to Outboard, objects can be fine-tuned by the user because “experienced sound designers will tell you it’s the last few milliseconds or dB of adjustment that make the imaging work”.
