Kent-based hearing protection specialists ProGuard has appointed Strings and Things as its new UK distributor.
Strings and Things has been distributing the ProGuard Lin-Ear PR20 generic Music earplug since January 2013, with many of their dealers reporting excellent feedback from clients. Marc Snelling, director of Strings and Things commented “We have been involved with hearing protection for a number of years but since we started distributing the ProGuard Lin-Ear in January this year, we were unaware that a hearing protection product could sound so good. Our dealers love them and the MI market is extremely hard to please but everybody has been impressed by their performance. So it was natural that we should now start to channel a wider range of products to the market and ProGuard proved to be the best in the market”. Richard Frankson sales director at Sensorcom, the ProGuard parent company added: “It has been so good getting involved with Strings and Things over the last nine months. They have given us an excellent route to market, and provide great market support and customer feedback. Asking them to distribute our Custom Fit ProGuard products was an absolute no brainer.” ProGuard is planning to bring new hearing protection and IEM products to market over the coming months matched to different sound-fields and music genres. www.proguarduk.co.ukwww.stringsandthings.co.uk
