A Tyneside exhibition at Newcastle College follows on 10 October, and on 17 October the Welsh exhibition takes place at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama – where Stage Electrics installed a large sound, lighting and communications systems in the concert hall and theatre last year. Now in its 10th year, Stage Electrics’ regional exhibitions are informal, low key events that are open to anyone who is interested in lighting, audio and video. Aimed at schools, the arts, theatres, broadcast and general entertainment. Previous events have seen several hundred people attending the exhibitions at venues from Tyneside to Wales. Stage Electrics’ featured pro-audio brands will include DiGiCo, EM Acoustics, Martin Professional, Roland Systems Group and Yamaha. As in previous years students from each venue will form the backbone of the event production teams as part of their performing arts course work. Adam Blaxill, head of marketing and strategic buying at Stage Electrics, commented: “These regional exhibitions bring together all the latest products we’re distributing, and most importantly our customers and end users from across the UK, in a friendly and co-operative environment. These exhibitions are free to all visitors and we look forward to welcoming them at each venue.” Pre-registration for the exhibition is now open via the company’s website.
