Soundbrenner is giving visitors at NAMM 2017 an exclusive sneak peek at the latest developments from the company, including a new Pulse accessory and the launch of a new feature in The Metronome app.
The Soundbrenner Pulse is a smart wearable device for musicians, designed to overcome the limitations of traditional metronomes. It generates distinct vibrations that deliver the beat onto the user’s skin, replacing the audible click of traditional metronomes and allowing the musician to focus on the music. When connected to The Metronome by Soundbrenner app, the BPM, time signatures, subdivisions and more can be easily customised to match the song or setlist. Its multi-link feature can sync up to five Soundbrenner Pulse devices, allowing band members to experience the same rhythm simultaneously during rehearsals and performances.
Soundbrenner’s key focus over the past year was to improve the performance and capabilities of the Soundbrenner Pulse. The team will reveal a new Soundbrenner Pulse accessory, designed to maximise the feeling of the vibrations so musicians can internalise the beat better than before.
Florian Simmendinger, CEO of Soundbrenner, says: “This new accessory intensifies the feelings of the vibrations on the body, allowing the musician to fully experience the rhythm from the Soundbrenner Pulse both on and off stage.”
Visitors at NAMM will have the opportunity to try the new accessory before the official launch of the product.
The team will also reveal and demo a never-seen-before feature available on The Metronome by Soundbrenner app. This new feature allows musicians to easily prepare setlists and rhythm patterns on all mobile and tablet devices, making it easier and more efficient to prepare the rhythm library during rehearsals or performances.
Soundbrenner is exhibiting in Hall E, Booth No.1055 from 19 to 22 January at NAMM.
