What is it?A wireless microphone system designed for fast and easy set-up on small to medium-sized stages. DetailsThe PGX24 system comprises PGX2 handheld transmitter, Beta 87A microphone and PGX4 diversity receiver. It can be quickly set up by simply pressing the channel button on the front of the PGX4 which then performs a scan of the area and selects a clear operating frequency to avoid interference. Once complete, the receiver can be sync’d to the PGX2 by pressing the sync button on the receiver and pointing the infra-red port on the transmitter at the receiver. A maximum of eight PGX systems may be used in parallel in the same area without interference. The Beta 87A is a supercardioid condenser mic’ tuned to accentuate vocal clarity. With the PGX2 it offers a 92m operating range and more than eight hours continuous use from two AA batteries. Multi-colour LEDs provide visual indication of power, lock-out, mute and low battery. The system operates across 90 selectable frequencies and incorporates dual, ¼-wave adjustable antennas. It comes supplied with a custom-made carrying case and optional rack-mounting hardware.
