Now in its third year, Sennheiser UK’s series of roadshows is aimed at the systems integration and professional audio markets. It is steadily increasing in popularity with the company reporting pre-registration at an unprecedented level for 2013. Sennheiser will host three events during May and June: the first is at Edinburgh’s Hopetoun House on 21 May, followed by Carlton Towers (pictured) in Yorkshire on 23 May then finally Knebworth House, Hertfordshire on 5 June. The focus of the 2013 presentations is on the advantages of Sennheiser’s new flagship Digital 9000 series of microphones, details of the latest issues surrounding the UK government’s changes to spectrum allocation, audio for the 2012 London Olympics and Italian loudspeaker manufacture K-array’s new Anakonda system, plus its KMR33 and KH/KS systems. Hands on workshops will feature sessions on Apart Audio Control, Sennheiser’s new LSP 500 PRO wireless loudspeaker, and RF best practice. “The feedback we’ve had in previous years has been extremely encouraging confirming that our road shows are something the industry wants and needs and it’s great for us as a brand to get out and meet our customers face to face,” said Simon Beesley, product manager for Sennheiser UK’s integrated systems division. “We’re looking forward to offering the same style of education with a bit of entertainment that has proved so popular again this year.” Places for the road shows are limited and allocated on a strictly first come first served basis.
