What is it? A 32-channel, compact V-Mixer digital mixing console featuring iPad control for use in live sound applications. Details Offering 24 analogue inputs, 12 analogue outputs, stereo digital output (AES/EBU), 8 auxiliaries, 4 matrix outputs plus 8 DCA groups, the M-200i incorporates four multi-effect processors and four 31-band graphic EQ units. The design allows comprehensive wired or wireless iPad control (two simultaneously) with a ‘Touch and Turn’ feature allowing the user to select a parameter on the iPad and adjust it via a physical control on the console. All M-200i parameters may be controlled from the iPad together with effects editing and storage/recall of scenes. Without an iPad, the console may be controlled in the conventional way from the built-in LCD screen and buttons. The M-200i offers WAV recording using USB memory plus remote control via PC/Mac and DAW recording. With the built-in Roland Ethernet Audio Communication (REAC) port, the mixer is designed to be easily expanded to include remote I/O simply by adding a Roland Digital Snake headsuch as the S-1608 16-input/8-output device. Further expansion is possible with any other device from the REAC family – including personal mixers and/or multi-channel recorder/players. Other features include motorised faders, dedicated buttons and knobs for key functions. And another thing… In addition to the physical inputs on the M-200i, it can also accept audio sources via the USB port.
