What is it?A scalable amplification solution for all Nexo concert systems design to encourage “inventory standardisation among users and facilitating cross-hire opportunities”.DetailsThe Nexo Universal Amp Rack (NUAR) contains two NXAMP4x4 amplifiers, two DMU digital input patch units (providing digital communication with the NXAMP), two DPU digital output patch units and an EtherSound or Dante network card. Linear phase has now been applied across the Nexo range, allowing users to mix and match products from early PS Series onwards. There are new FIR filters for the GEO S12 in active and passive mode and new set-ups for the PS15 said to deliver “a quantum improvement” in sound quality. New FIR presets are also available for Nexo’s 45ºN-12 stage monitor running in passive mode and said to offer significant improvement in performance as well as affordability. Set-up selection per channel is now implemented on the NXAMP; users are able to program per-product/per-channel – combining all systems with perfect phase and amplitude matching. Nexo has also announced that its latest STM systems will be supplied road-ready, paired with NUAR and its plug-and-play digital patches, real-time system monitoring and control network functionality. Each NUAR will feed twelve STM modules in any combination in groups of three. And another thing… NXAMP digital processors and amplifiers are now available in a dual-voltage version for touring applications.
