New pro-audio demo facility for Sound Technology

Sound Technology customers are welcome to listen and demo Harman Professional brand products in the new 4,000 square foot facility.

Sound Technology Ltd has opened its 4,000 square foot pro-audio demonstration facility at the company’s offices in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire. The central listening space features JBL loudspeakers including VerTec VT4888 and VT4886 line arrays (and soon the new JBL VTX flagship line array), the Marquis Dance club series, Application Engineering speakers, and CBT passive line array columns. JBL’s portable PA ranges are also represented with VRX, PRX and EON loudspeakers. Crown i-TechHD VRacks, ComTech DriveCore, CTs, CDi and XTi amplifiers power the loudspeakers, and a BSS Soundweb DSP network controls the system. Soundcraft’s Vi and Si Compact digital consoles are also available, along with an AKG DMS700 digital wireless system. David Marshall, Sound Technology managing director commented, “Sound Technology has made a substantial investment in this facility to support our pro- audio customers in the process of selling and supporting Harman Professional product. I urge our customers to take full advantage of this and for them to host their own clients here, enabling them to demonstrate Harman audio quality at every stage of the audio chain. The facility also increases our ability to offer training on product lines beyond the BSS and Soundcraft training already on offer and I look forward to welcoming as many of our customers as possible here in the coming months.“

Global demo tour for L-Acoustics ARCS systems

L-Acoustics is taking its new ARCS WIDE and ARCS FOCUS systems on a global demo tour, which began in mid-September. The demos will also cover L-Acoustics’ Coaxial and Variable Curvature sound systems and technologies.
