New European business manager joins Sound Devices

He will be in charge of the Service Center located in Berlin

Sound Devices has hired Hermann Heide as the new business manager of its European Service Center located in Berlin-Adlershof, a leading German science and technology park.

Heide comes to the company with many years of experience in different roles, including IT management, international trade, risk management, and business development. Previously, he was a business development manager with an international IT consulting group and led and managed its joint business development activities in Switzerland, Germany, the Czech Republic and Ireland.

On the appointment, Heide says: “Sound Devices prides itself as being a company that designs and manufactures high-quality audio and video equipment while providing the best in customer service. It is a great honour to be selected to manage the European Service Center and work with like-minded individuals to provide best-in-class products for all users, from amateurs to professionals.
