At this year’s BVE in London, Neutrik is presenting a range of application-specific AV connectivity solutions.

Neutrik XIRIUM PRO is a dedicated studio-quality digital wireless audio link; a cable replacement system that transmits robust, low latency, high-resolution digital audio signals over long distances. Based on proprietary DiWA (Digital Wireless Audio) technology, XIRIUM PRO the transmitted audio is totally uncompressed, is 24bit / 48kHz, and in the license-free 5GHz band.

The system is ideal for use in situations where it is overly time-consuming or operationally impractical to run audio cables. XIRIUM PRO is increasingly in use with hire companies and sound designers throughout Europe across a wide range of events and installations. Up to six channels of audio can be transmitted to an unlimited number of receivers, up to a usable distance of 500m; line-of-sight and point-to-multiple point. Greater distances can be achieved, as required, with the use of the system’s repeater units.

Neutrik’s new TOP product range answers the growing demand for environmentally sealed connectors for use in heavy-duty and harsh environment applications with entertainment equipment like PA systems, lighting, signage and LED screens.

TOP includes the powerCON TRUE1, etherCON, and XLR products, which have been certified in accordance with IEC 61076-2-103, IEC 60320, UL 1977 and UL 498, and which now also meet the requirements for outdoor use and UV resistance as laid out in UL50E.

The new mediaCON product family sports robust, lockable USB Type-C cables and panel sockets, with all components designed for data rates up to 10GB/s (USB 3.1), 100W power and 10,000 mating cycles. MediaCON has a lockable and reliable interface to connect professional audio components, storage media, cameras, monitors and computer hardware.

The intelligent NA2-IO-DLINE Dante I/O interface is an end-of-network device that provides an easy solution for integrating analogue signal devices within Dante based AoIP networks. With two line-level analogue inputs and two line-level outputs, it can simultaneously integrate two audio channels within a Dante network and output a Dante stream as two analogue channels.
