At NAMM 2020, Mackie will be showing its latest entry into the portable PA market, the SRM-Flex portable column PA system.
With a six-channel digital mixer and complete wireless control and streaming with the SRM-Flex Connect app, SRM-Flex is ideal for solo acts, small bands, presentations, events, and DJs.
The modular design of SRM-Flex features a 10-inch LF woofer in the molded cabinet base module which also contains the 1,300W amplifier and built-in digital mixer. The three-piece tower houses a wide-dispersion array with six two-inch HF drivers for clear, whole room coverage. This modular tower design allows the user to easily change the height of the mid and high frequencies to match the ear level of the audience.
“Portability is a major factor with a portable PA, and SRM-Flex delivers,” said Craig Reeves, Mackie product manager. “At under 30 pounds, the SRM Flex is easy to carry one-handed, and its small size means it will fit easily into the trunk of your car – or even on the bus.”
The built-in six-channel digital mixer has two flexible Mic/Line inputs, a stereo channel with dual 1/4-inch line inputs and a 1/8-inch aux in / Bluetooth streaming channel. Channels one and two are equipped with individual two-band EQs and Reverb level controls with three different reverb options. There are also three voicing modes available, and connecting to a second SRM-Flex or house PA is possible with the XLR Mix Out.
“SRM-Flex is incredibly easy to get up and running and sounding great,” continued Reeves. “And with full physical controls plus complete wireless control, adjustments on the fly are stress-free”.
The SRM-Flex is available now at a US MAP price of $999.99. To see it up close, you can visit the Anaheim Convention Center in room 201D at NAMM 2020. Mackie will also be showcasing its new SRM V-class of powered pro sound speakers, which you can read more about here.
