Miloco has partnered with DMZ Live to launch a bespoke recording and mixing service that specialises in live recording, mixing and mastering for concerts, broadcasts, video/DVD, location recording and video and film shoots. The operation centres around a newly fitted digital recording vehicle, the DMZ Mobile MkII. Depending on the project requirements, the van can be equipped with either a VENUE profile console or Lawo mc²56 console. The main stereo & 5.1 monitoring systems are based on Genelec 8050a and 8040a monitors, with processing provided by TC Electronic’s System 6000 mastering unit, Finaliser stereo mastering unit and M3000 multi-effects unit. A Urei LA3 dual mono compressor rounds up the outboard gear. In conjunction with the introduction of Live Recording with DMZ Live, Miloco has relaunched The Yard Studio in Islington, where DMZ will now mix all their live performance projects. The studio features a 32 output Protools HD6 Accel rig with a Digidesign C24 control surface and a choice of Boxer T2, Yamaha NS10 and Genelec 1031 monitors. www.miloco.co.uk/live-recordingwww.miloco.co.uk/yard
