What is it?A hardware/software system for driving and aligning Meyer Sound array systems.DetailsThe 2U rack-mount Callisto 616 provides six inputs and 16 outputs and incorporates a full digital matrix processor. The system is supplied with Meyer’s Compass software offering comprehensive control of all parameters from a Mac or Windows-based computer. Designed for use with M Series and LEO-M arrays, the Callisto 616 features delay integration for aligning speaker arrays, user-defined shaping filters and simultaneous low- and high-pass filters for subwoofer control. The extensive processing architecture includes five-band U-Shaping EQ - with adjustable slope, width and gain - plus ten-band parametric filtering, both available on outputs. Four-band ‘TruShaping’ EQ with adjustable widths and gain, is also available on inputs. The Callisto 616’s EQ parameters are said to be easily edited from within Compass software using either numeric data entry or graphically by dragging frequency bands. Parameters can be adjusted while viewing multiple layers of EQ in a composite graphic plot to achieve the required equalisation curve. The Callisto 616 features full digital operation with fixed latency across all output channels regardless of any applied processing. It can also be connected directly to the SIM 3 audio analyzer, providing complete measurement and control for integrated audio systems. And another thing…Control from Mac and Windows-based computers running Compass software is via ethernet connection.
