IK Multimedia are launching what they claim to be nearfield studio monitoring reinvented – a new member of the iLoud family in the form of the iLoud MTM speaker.
IK will be showcasing a number of its latest products at NAMM 2019, booths 17201-17203, Level 2 ACC North Hall, in the Anaheim Convention Center.
IK has announced an addition to the iLoud family with iLoud MTM, offering a totally DSP-controlled system to achieve results that aren’t possible with analogue designs, in a compact size that can be used in home or professional studios. It also offers a tilting isolation stand, designed to precisely angle your speakers for desktop placement.
The results are a 40 Hz – 24 kHz flat frequency response, a deep and firm bass feedback using IK’s Physical Response Linearisation technology, a linear phase response that produces realistic sound, quality imaging and precision even at close distances, and built-in acoustic calibration.
Using a midrange-tweeter-midrange design, two 3.5” high performance woofers, and one 1” high definition, back-chamber loaded tweeter, iLoud MTM offers “point-source” performance for precise stereo imaging. This time-aligned design minimises ear fatigue, so you can mix longer, and reduces vertical reflections which lessens the impact of room acoustics on your monitoring.
The product will be released for the price of €349.99 in the second quarter of the year, and are available to preorder now.
