HK Audio provided sound for a performance by Queen guitarist Brian May and Broadway star Kerry Ellis in support of their Tiger Tracks campaign: the “world’s largest event to save tigers.” May and Ellis were playing in support of the Born Free Foundation, which works to prevent individual animal suffering, protect threatened species and keep wildlife in the wild. Sound at the event, which took place on the Grand Terrace at London's St Pancras station, came from an HK Audio Linear 5 Big Venue Pack, supplied by Hertfordshire-based entertainment and production firm Mr H Productions. HK Audio is distributed exclusively in the UK and Eire by John Hornby Skewes & Co. The Linear 5 Big Venue Pack contains four LSUB2000A active 2x12" subs, two L5115FA Mid/Hi active cabinets and four L5112XA multi functional active cabinets configured as stage monitors. Mr H Productions' Andy Harvey said: "We are no stranger to HK cabinets – we have been using HK Audio Actor systems for a number of years. We favour active cabinets because we don't have to worry about trucking racks of amplifiers and processors. This means quicker preparation and setup times.” Harvey continued: “We were looking to increase our rental stock, so the new Linear 5 seemed like the right choice. With HK Audio's five-year warranty, its versatility, smooth response, and a sound that our clients love, it was an easy choice!” www.hkaudio.com
