Duran Audio will be running a two-day training course at its R&D facility in Zaltbommel, The Netherlands on 14-15 May 2013. These two days are aimed at consultants, sound system designers, installers and users who wish to learn more about AXYS products and software. Both days involve a combination of presentations, demonstrations and practical activities. There will also be some "free time" set aside for attendees to experiment with the products. Day one will focus on the AXYS Intellivox range, first introduced in 1996 and one of the first systems to be based on beam steering technology. Day two will focus on how to successfully design and commission systems based on Intellivox products. Attendees will not only learn how to design systems using the AXYS DDA (Digital Directivity Analysis) modeling software but they will then have the opportunity to re-create this design. Day two will also focus on the AXYS Sound Reinforcement range including the beam shaping subwoofer technology.
