What is it?A range of three active stage monitors. DetailsSaid to offer precise directivity and uniform throw patterns, the three models in the range – FM8, FM10 and FM12 – are all coaxial designs housed in compact multifunctional enclosures which can be tilted at two different angles for accurate sound-to-audience alignment. The FM8 is designed for small stages and is described as the ideal ultra-compact monitor for speech and vocals. It houses an 8” woofer and high-frequency horn delivering a tight coverage pattern, and is said to be easy to align without interfering with the signals from other monitors. The FM10 is a 200W enclosure with a 10” woofer said to render vocals with sufficient power, dynamics and precision to serve as a compact full-range system in its own right. The larger FM12 features a 12” woofer and increased power handling of 300W for monitoring of all types of live or playback music. dBTechnologies have also introduced the 400W SUB 12D active subwoofer for use with the Flexsys models and other 8” and 10” full-range enclosures, while for larger 12” systems, there’s the SUB 5D.
