France-based hire company Concept Audio has joined the growing list of Adamson's Energia Beta Partners, which includes French partners SLS and MPM. In addition to the new E15 system, Concept Audio also carries Y18's, Y10’s, T21 Subs, SpekTrix and M15 monitors in their inventory. As details of the new Energia system were made public, Concept Audio kept in contact with Adamson’s French distributors DV2 about becoming a member of the Energia network. The PA company compared line array systems by various manufacturers before committing to the new E15: “Man, it is incredible. It’s powerful, lightweight and it sounds astonishing. We had demos by others brands, but the E15 is simply the best system in the world!” commented Pierrick Burgin (pictured, second from right), one of Concept Audio’s founders and MDs. The company first used the E15 system for FM Radio Allouette’s Spring Fest outdoor concert in the Loire region, for an audience of about 27,000 people. The system was made up of 24 E15 boxes – 12 per side – and six T21 subs in a cardioid pattern on the ground. Concept Audio will be using the E15 system in several outdoor festivals during the summer, including Hellfest Summer Open Air 2012, Free Music Festival in Montendre, the 25th anniversary of Futuroscope, Festiv'Ete in Moutiers sous Chantemerle, and on shows with Johnny Clegg, Sinsemilia, and as a cross-rental for Audiolite at Brest Maritime Festival 2012, and the Bobital Festival. www.adamsonsystems.com
