Live noise suppressor

What is it?A multi-channel dialogue noise suppressor designed specifically for live sound and live broadcast.DetailsThough DNS 1000 systems have been used in both live and live broadcast applications, the DNS 8 Live is the first system designed specifically for use outside the studio. With eight simultaneous channels of dialogue noise suppression, the DNS 8 Live hosts a new DNS algorithm boasting a simplified “2-knob” approach as well as a detailed editing mode said to offer more control than any previous dialogue noise suppressor. Despite this, it retains the same near-zero latency of all its predecessors, making it suitable for use in venues such as theatres, concert halls, conferences venues and places of worship. For control from laptops, iPads and other devices, the system has also been designed to respond to a simple, web-based remote control interface; with the DNS 8 RC software due for release later in this year, the DNS will no longer be tied to use with a DAW and will work with almost any web browser. And another thing…Housed in a 1U rackmount cabinet with 90V-250V universal PSU and a 12VDC input, the DNS 8 Live can be used in situations where there is no ready access to mains power.
