What is it?A sound processor designed for easier setup of 2 x 4 installed and portable Bose systems and offering two configuration methods based on user preference and loudspeaker type.DetailsFast system setup is achieved using front-panel LCD menus and controls offering basic configurations of Bose speaker system. Factory-installed speaker equalisation curves are selectable, together with common routing configurations. Additional settings – such as gain and delay – are also provided for basic system tuning with additional signal processing parameters available using SP-24 Editor software for system equalisation and optimisation. For unique signal routing and processing configurations – or when used with non-Bose loudspeakers – the ControlSpace SP-24 and SP-24 Editor software serve as a general-purpose DSP processor. The SP-24 includes standard XLR connections for use with balanced pro audio gear, with two input channels available for sources such as mixing consoles plus four output channels to connect to amplifiers or powered speakers. Additional features include front-panel input signal and clip LEDs and a lockout mode to help prevent unauthorised access. Additionally, the SP-24 can be used for auxiliary zones in larger system installations and with portable sound reinforcement systems. Complete access to all signal routing and processing settings (whether live or off-line) is provided through the SP-24 Editor software; custom scenes can be created and saved locally to a PC or stored directly to the processor. And another thing… The SP-24 Editor delivers a host of graphical tools to adjust signal routing, input and output 9-band equalisation, band pass filters, delays, peak limiter, gain and polarity control.
