System 8 units incorporate an advanced dipole antenna system for extended operating range, power, RF and AF Peak indicators, volume control, ¼” output jack and user-adjustable squelch. The handheld microphone/transmitter incorporates a rugged unidirectional dynamic element, variable trim control and a multi-colour battery/power indicator. The overall dynamic range of the system is 90dB (A weighted) and the operating range is (typically) 60 metres.Seven System 8 configurations are available – the basic ATW-801 and ATW-801/G guitar systems – both including an ATW-R800 receiver and an ATW-T801 UniPak transmitter; the ATW-801/H and ATW-801/H92 headworn microphone systems with an ATW-R800, ATW-T801 and (respectively) PRO 8HEcW and PRO 92cW headworn microphones. The ATW-801/H92-TH headworn microphone system includes an ATW-R800, ATW-T801 and a PRO 92cW-TH headworn microphone while the ATW-801/L Lavaliere microphone system includes an ATW-R800, ATW-T801 transmitter and an omnidirectional lavaliere microphone. Finally, the ATW-802 handheld microphone system combines an ATW-R800 receiver and an ATW-T802 handheld dynamic unidirectional microphone/transmitter plus a AT8456a Quiet-Flex stand clamp.And another thing… The System 8 handheld transmitter is powered by two AA batteries providing approximately eight hours continuous operation (dependent on battery type and use pattern).
