DetailsSaid to combine high audio quality, reliability and easy setup, the AKG WMS4500 range comprises four “performance-focused” sets for worldwide use: the D7 Set with a D7 WL-1 mic head, the Instrumental Set with an MKGL cable, the CK77 Set with a WR-L Lavaliere microphone and the HC577 Set with an HC577 L headworn microphone. Along with custom microphone selections, each set includes the SR4500 receiver plus an HT4500 handheld transmitter or PT4500 bodypack transmitter. The SR4500’s internal software features AutoSetup for intermodulation-free channel selection, EnvironmentScan settings for radio frequency range scanning and a RehearsalMode selection which can be used to save system data.Important settings such as squelch threshold, carrier frequency selection and the listed user name can be edited and stored with an easy-to-use menu. The receiver also features an adjustable backlight setting, a factory reset and modified presets. The PT4500 bodypack transmitter is said to provide enhanced durability for rigorous stage use with all major electronic components enclosed in a metal casing for protection. The PT4500 offers adjustable input sensitivity and accepts both microphone and line-level input signals. A lockable TA-3F Mini-XLR socket connects the broad range of AKG headsets, Lavalieres, instrument microphones and instrument cables. And another thing… The HT4500 hand-held transmitter allows interchangeable microphone modules to be removed and switched to meet the needs of individual vocalists.
