AKG wireless systems, in-ear monitors, wired microphones and headphones, were deployed for the 21st annual Life Ball celebration in Vienna, Austria. The event held in support of “Fighting AIDS and Celebrating Life” featured global celebrities, ambassadors and performers on 11 stages in a glamorous night to raise awareness of the ailment affecting hundreds of millions of people. In total, 50 channels of AKG WMS4500 and DMS700 wireless were deployed throughout Vienna’s City Hall building. An additional 30 channels of IVM4500 in-ear monitors and 60 wired D5 and D7’s were used for performances and presentations, while 20 K267 and K181 headphones were used by DJs during the event. AKG has provided microphone, headphone and wireless solutions to the Life Ball celebration for eight consecutive years.
