Multinational hire, sales and distribution giant AED Group celebrated 30 years on 9 and 10 December with an aviation-themed birthday bash in Lint, Belgium, attended by over a thousand people from 23 countries.

CEO Glenn Roggeman, who joined the company in 1985, paid tribute to the "people from Dubai, America, Finland… it’s hard to believe. Twenty-three nations dealing with AV technology, united [to celebrate 30 years of AED]. That’s really amazing." Also present was Belgian deputy prime minister Kris Peeters.

The party took place at the old Eurocam Media Center – formerly home to Alfacam – which AED bought in 2013 (see Eurocam reborn as AED Studios).
