Touring information and installation news are just two components of the manufacturer’s new pages on the social networking site Facebook.
Launched to coincide with Prolight + Sound 2011, the Yamaha Commercial Audio Facebook pages already contain a wide variety of content about the latest Yamaha happenings – from a major installation at the Costa Navarino resort in Greece, to the PM5D-RH-assisted Paul Rodgers gig at new London venue Under the Bridge.
There is also an extensive gallery of images from past Glastonbury Festivals, as well as a video about the LS9 app.
Announcing the new Facebook presence, a company spokesperson commented: “Yamaha has adopted a very informal approach and hope professional users find the page a very useful resource for the future. There’s already plenty of very interesting and valuable content on the page, and through regular updates [we] will provide lots of breaking news, details of training, activities and product updates.”
