Three-in-one Uniline system for Audio Technique

Audio Technique "decided to be the first to access this technology," investing in a large APG Uniline system that can be broken down into three smaller, separate systems.

French production and rental company Audio Technique has become a member of the Uniline Solution network of service providers, investing in a ‘significant’ Uniline line array system from APG. The St. Etienne-based company decided on a “modular” system: a large configuration that can be broken down into three smaller, separate systems: 18 x UL210 long/medium throw loudspeakers; 4 x UL210D medium/short throw and/or downfill speakers; 18 x UL115B bass speakers and 12 x TB218S subs. Audio Technique’s technical director, Bernard, explained his choice: “We are experts in the use of conventional line arrays, however, given the new trend for modular line arrays and their many advantages, we decided to be the first to access this technology in our region.” “The advantages of a modular system are considerable,” continued Natalucci. “Depending on how the system is configured it can handle everything from a small, intimate indoor event to a major outdoor concert or festival. Furthermore, APG’s Uniline system is very comprehensive – exceptional performance, sophisticated rigging system and well thought-out ergonomics for quick and easy implementation. We’ve been working with APG since 2010 when we first invested in a number of SMX15 monitors, and we have not been disappointed.”
In related news, APG has appointed former Meyer Sound systems engineer Juan Antonio Cuevas to represent the company throughout Spain. “Juan Antonio is known and respected by all the major players in the pro audio market in Spain, from rental companies to sound engineers to the artists themselves,” commented APG international business development director, Xavier Pion. “I can’t think of a better ambassador for us in Spain than Juan Antonio, and we’re all looking forward to reaping the results.”
