HOLLAND: The forthcoming IBC broadcasting and media technology exhibition will find Solid State Logic turning the spotlight on a fresh addition to the C100 Digital Broadcast Console product portfolio. “The C100 HD-S is part of a significant expansion of the platform that goes beyond just releasing the new console,” SSL’s Dan Duffell tells David Davies.
The C100 HD-S is billed as a smaller form factor console designed for space limited applications. It will be demonstrated running new C100 HD Version 4.0 software and, says SSL, offering significantly increased processing power.
“The C100 is already in use in many of the world’s busiest and complex broadcast facilities. The C100 HD-S is part of a significant expansion of the platform that goes beyond just releasing the new console,” SSL marketing manager Dan Duffell tells PSN-e. “The C100 has been upgraded to become the C100 HD with new V4.0 software that offers a selection of new features and, in conjunction with more processor power, increases the possible channel count to 256.”
Developed with the “truck market and smaller broadcasters” at the top of the priority list, Duffell says that the C100 HD-S “fulfills customer requests for more faders in less space. [We] are very pleased to be able to deliver this without compromising the great ergonomics we are known for.”
In addition, the manufacturer will display the upgraded C300 HD Master Studio System, the C200 Digital Production Console and Duality, the large-format analogue console with integrated DAW control that now offers optional redundant power supply. The XLogic Alpha-Link and Delta-Link range of MADI-based I/O solutions will also be present on SSL’s stand at IBC (8.472).
