Dolby Laboratories senior vice president Ioan Allen will present ‘Stereo Optical Film Soundtracks; – 76 Years’ on 4 November at the Dolby Theater (pictured).
The two-hour event, which begins at 3pm, will provide a comprehensive overview of stereo motion picture soundtrackdevelopment, beginning with experimental recordings made in 1934, through to Perspecta Sound, Disney’s Fantasound and more.
A limited number of $10 tickets will be available from the registration desk of the Moscone Centre, where the San Francisco convention witll be held on 4-7 November.
Dolby Theatre, a multi-format projection room/recording studio complex within Dolby’s South-of-Market headquarters, is a short ride from the center.
