OHM road-tests new line array

Ohm's new line array system, Ersa Major, has been put to the test at a number of major events recently, including an ambitious concert revolving around former Genesis vocalist Ray Wilson.

Former Genesis vocalist Ray Wilson is among those to have put the Ersa Major line array through its paces. Wilson – part of Genesis in its post-Phil Collins incarnation – made use of the new Ohm system during a series of concerts in Poland that also featured members of his band Stiltskin, a string quartet and leading Polish band LZY.

The sound engineer for LZY, Wojtek ‘Varran’ Cichocki, is said to have been very impressed with the Ersa Major system and has decided to include OHM in riders as the band’s preferred sound system.

In addition, Ersa Major was also used recently during the Premier League Stoke City Player of the Year event at Britannia Stadium. Witnessed by a number of OHM distributors and sound production companies, the Stoke City event system comprised 16 Ersa Major mid/high cabinets and 12 PUKK-219 subs, powered by Ohm CFU amplifiers.

Looking ahead, the Ersa Major system is shortly to be used for an outdoor concert featuring Craig David, Gabriella Cilmi, Diana Vickers, Tiffany Paige and The Hoosiers.
