Monacan nightclub Jimmy’z d’Hiver, frequented by celebrities such as U2’s Bono, Julian Lennon and Leonardo DiCaprio, has been equipped with an L-Acoustics ARCS constant curvature WST system as part of a recent renovation. The sound system was supplied and installed by system integrator and distributor Services Électroniques & Sonorisation (SES). It comprises two hangs of three ARCS, one 115XT HiQ and two 112P coaxials, one SB28 subwoofer, one LA48 and two LA8 amplified controllers. “The ARCS constant curvature WST system is ideal for this type of application, combining strong SPLs and medium throw with controlled directivity in the horizontal plane,” said L-Acoustics sales manager Franck Surena. The owner of Jimmy’z d’Hiver, the Societe des Bains de Mer, has installed L-Acoustics systems into its other venues, including the famous Salle des Etoiles in Monte Carlo. www.l-acoustics.com
