UK: Britannia Row has purchased a remarkable 84 units of Outline_s new T9 computer-controlled amplifier for its Butterfly inventory. The T9 produces 2 x 4,800/3,000/1,300W at 2/4/8 ohms in a 1U rack space, and offers the option of fitting DSP cards for comprehensive control of a Butterfly hi-pack, reports David Davies.
Outline and Britannia Row worked together to design and built custom-designed racks and patching/wiring infrastructure for the new system, which has already been used on the Decaydance festival at London_s Hammersmith Apollo.
_The Butterfly has already proved itself over the last year with constant usage on the majority of [Brit Row] events and has never missed a beat. These new amps and wiring have taken the Butterfly to new heights,_ commented Britannia Row systems engineer Adam Smith.
