One of the Middle East’s most important festivals has returned after a four-year hiatus, with KV2 Audio equipment proving to be integral to the audio spec.
KV2 sister company Triad Live Sound Productions was awarded the task of providing sound for the two main stages: the main southern roman amphitheatre and the northern amphitheatre. Omar Khairat, George Wassouf and Najwa Karam were among the distinguished artists to grace these stages.
On the main, southern ampitheatre stage, the audio spec included one flown KV2 VHD 2.0 and one VHD 1.0 down fill per side, along with one ES 1.0 for the lower area and four 4.18 and two ES 2.6 subwoofers per side. Fourteen EX12 stage monitors were provided for this stage.
The second stage, the northern amphitheatre, featured two ES 1.0s along with four ES 2.6 subwoofers per side.
Despite the modest nature of the set-up, KV2 says that engineer response was extremely positive, with sound crews “astonished by the delivery of these mighty systems!”
