South Korea-based PA and installed sound manufacturer Inter-M has become the latest in a long line of adoptees of Audinate’s Dante media networking technology.
Known for its PA systems, SR systems, consoles, speakers, CCTV systems, wireless technology and microphones, Inter-M has installations in a wide variety of facilities throughout Korea.
Now, the company intends to use Dante end-to-end throughout its systems – from paging microphones, through mixers and distribution units, to Dante-enabled powered speakers.
Lee Ellison (pictured), CEO of Audinate, commented: “Inter-M is a great brand in Korea and is expanding rapidly around the world. Inter-M has an aggressive plan to connect their wide variety of products into an integrated system using Dante.”
Wonho Lee, director of R&D at Inter-M, added: “We believe having Dante in our systems gives us a definite competitive advantage. We selected Dante because it provides us with an audio over IP solution today, and Audinate is the only company that can offer a viable transition path to AVB for the future.”
