A total of approximately 60 people attended two recent Dynacord Academy events in Straubing, each of which was tailored to the demands of specific vertical markets.
The Dynacord team was led by Oliver Sahm (tech support pro-audio EMEA), Frauke Jungbluth (sales manager Europe) and Andreas Köstlinger (tech support).
The subject of the first Academy was ‘the retail business’. The two-day series of seminars focused mainly on small- to medium-sized live sound systems, and saw Andreas Köstlinger demonstrating system combinations such as the PowerMate mixer with Corus Evolution series loudspeakers, and the CMS mixer with D-Lite powered speaker systems, as well as DSP, Cobra and VariLine loudspeakers. A special workshop on DSP rounded off the event.
The focus of the next session – Pro Sound Live Academy – was pro-sound systems and how to derive the most profit from them in live sound applications. Frauke Jungbluth and Andreas Köstlinger presented a programme that included the Cobra-2 and Cobra-4 systems, the individually configurable IRIS-Net software and RCM-26 controller modules, and VariLine and CXM-15 loudspeakers. The fundamentals of acoustics and practical solutions for common problems were also covered during the two-day course.
“The combination of theoretical know-how and practical training has proved invaluable in many of our Academies,” said Jungbluth. “The highly positive response from the participants validated this approach to education and demonstrated the extent to which participants can profit from our team’s know-how and from hands-on time with our products.”
