DK-Technologies adds to meter range, marketing team

The DK4 loudness meter joins the company’s DK Meter range, adding spectrum analysis and other new standard features. Meanwhile, Uffe Kjems Hansen has been appointed DK-Technologies’ new product marketing director.

DK-Technologies has introduced the new DK4 to its DK Meter family of audio and loudness tools. Like the DK3, DK4 offers de-embedding of SDI 3G input channels. Additionally, DK4 includes three AES as well as two analogue inputs. New standard features include FFT spectrum analysis, screen grabber and MSD meter landscape view, optionally available for the other meters in the range. Jacob Hänel Christensen, sales and marketing director for DK-Technologies, commented: “With the addition of DK4, the DK Meter reach has once again been expanded. Broadcasters and post production engineers can now monitor everything from compliant loudness measurements and true peak readouts, through to detailed spectrum analysis.” In related news, Uffe Kjems Hansen (pictured) has been appointed as product marketing director, working alongside Hänel Christensen. Kjems Hansen joins DK-Technologies from digital processing manufacturer TC Electronic, where he held a number of positions over a 17-year period, culminating in vice president, business management and marketing. “Uffe has extensive business experience and this, combined with his in-depth knowledge of our industry, makes him the ideal person to assist DK-Technologies with its future growth strategy,” said Karsten Hansen, CEO of DK-Technologies. Kjems Hansen added: “DK-Technologies has always been synonymous with extreme accuracy and high quality products. The addition of the DK Meter family to the product range expands the company’s reach significantly and I am very excited to be joining at a time of great potential growth. I look forward to working with the DK-Technologies team to take the company to the next level.”
